Bill in DC has added a photo to the pool:
We dine out often, but seldom at high-end fine-dining restaurants. 2941 is just such a restaurant, most certainly a serious candidate for a Michelin star once the inspectors resume their review in the area (and when they also expand from DC into the surrounding suburbs). 2941's Executive Chef, Bertrand Chemel comes from Auvergne in the French interior and (in the words of the restaurant) “presents contemporary American cuisine accented with bold French and Mediterranean flavors”. Dishes here exhibit considerable creativity and attention to detail. The result is that a dinner at 2941, as with last night's tasting menu offerings, can be spectacular.
The pictures below reflect our dinner (minus the excellent selection of perfectly matched wines selected by 2941’s Sommelier).
