Mad Tea Party Cake | Disney's Magic Bake-Off

Chocolate Chai Cake and Edible Cookie Dough Recipe - Chocolate Chai Cake: INGREDIENTS * ½ c sour cream * 1 c whole milk * ½ T apple cider vinegar * 3 large eggs * 4 T instant coffee dissolved into 1 ½ c water * ¾ c vegetable oil * 1 T vanilla extract * 3 c ap flour * 2 ⅔ c granulated sugar * ½ c cocoa powder * ½ T baking powder * 1 T baking soda * 1 t salt * 1 t chai spice * ½ t cinnamon INSTRUCTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350 2. Mix together all wet ingredients (sour cream, milk, vinegar, eggs, coffee, oil, and vanilla) in a large bowl. 3. In a separate large bowl, sift the flour, sugar, salt, cocoa powder, baking powder, chai spice, cinnamon, and baking soda, and mix together to combine. 4. Add the wet mixture into the dry mixture and whisk until a fully combined batter is formed. 5. Spray 2-6” pans and 2-8” pan with canola spray and line it with a parchment round. 6. Distribute the batter evenly between the pans. 7. Bake the cake layers in the preheated oven until a knife inserted comes out clean about 30-40 minutes. 8. Let cake layers cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes and then release them onto a cooling rack. 9. Level the tops with a serrated knife. 10. Once cakes have cooled add cookie dough disks between cake layers and frost. Edible Cookie Dough: INGREDIENTS * 2 c ap flour * 1 ½ sticks unsalted butter * ½ c granulated sugar * 1 c brown sugar * 1 t salt * 1 T vanilla * ½ c milk * ½ c cocoa powder * 1 ½ c chocolate chips INSTRUCTIONS 1. In a clean mixer bowl cream butter and sugar until well combined. 2. Add salt, vanilla and cocoa powder. Once well incorporated, alternate between flour and milk. Fold in chocolate chips. 3. Wrap a 6” and 4” pan in plastic wrap.
