Whole Foods Bean Salad
@Alexawhatsfordinner can’t stop thinking about the marinated beans from Whole Foods, so she made her own version at home! (relaxed emoji) They’re an absolutely delightful addition to any charcuterie board, but also make a great make-ahead lunch! (sunglasses emoji) INGREDIENTS 1 14-ounce can of butter beans, drained 1 Tbsp sunflower oil ⅓ cup red wine vinegar 2 tsp kosher salt 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper 2 green onions, thinly sliced ¼ cup finely chopped roasted red peppers ¼ cup fresh finely chopped fresh parsley PREPARATION 1. In a large bowl, toss together the beans, sunflower oil, red wine vinegar, salt, black pepper, green onions, roasted red peppers, and parsley until evenly combined. Let sit for at least 30 minutes to meld the flavors. 2. Serve the bean salad on a charcuterie board, cheese plate, or eat as-is for a snack or for lunch. Any leftovers will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. 3. Enjoy!

Recipe below‼️ INGREDIENTS Zest of 1 large orange ¼ cup fresh orange juice ¾ cup Aperol ⅔ cup soda water 4 thin orange slices 1 750-ml bottle prosecco Special equipment Ice pop molds Ice pop sticks PREPARATION 1. In a large bowl, stir together the orange zest and juice, Aperol, and soda water. 2. Carefully pour the Aperol mixture into 4 ice pop molds, filling each about three-quarters of the way. Add an orange slice to each mold, then insert the sticks. Freeze for at least 8 hours, until completely solid. 3. When ready to serve, pour the prosecco into large glasses. 4. Remove the popsicles from the molds and place one upside down in each glass. Serve immediately. 5. Enjoy!

Onigirazu (Sushi Sandwich)
@jasmineandtea I’ve seen these all over social media, so I finally decided to give them a try! They are called onigirazu and are so easy to make. Take a roasted seaweed sheet and lay it on top of plastic wrap. Then, add a layer of rice to the middle and top with furikake, seasoned tuna, avocado, and another layer of rice. Bring the opposite ends of the seaweed together and tightly wrap in the plastic wrap to secure. Then cut it in half and enjoy! Ingredients Canned tuna Kewpie mayo Sriracha Sweet chili sauce Roasted seaweed sheet Cooked rice Furikake Avocado

@groovyfoodiess I love this customizable Pad See Ew! This dish is one of my go-to college classics! I am using super-versatile sauce ingredients and you can substitute the protein and veggies for anything that you'd like. This keeps very well in the fridge, or share with your friends for a big study session! INGREDIENTS -1 lb of protein of choice, such as beef, chicken, or tofu Marinade -2 Tbsp oyster sauce -3 Tbsp soy sauce -1 Tbsp dark soy sauce -½ Tbsp white pepper -1 Tbsp sugar -2 Tbsp cornstarch Sauce -3 Tbsp oyster sauce -2 Tbsp sugar -1 tsp white pepper -3 Tbsp dark soy sauce -1 Tbsp soy sauce Pad See Ew -½ white onion, sliced -5 cloves garlic, minced -150 grams Chinese broccoli -300 grams fresh rice noodles or 1 12-oz package of dried rice noodles -2 large eggs, beaten Preparation 1. Thinly slice your protein of choice. Transfer to a large bowl, add the oyster sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, white pepper, and sugar and stir to coat the protein. Sprinkle with the cornstarch and massage to coat the protein evenly. Marinate in the refrigerator for 15-60 minutes. 2. Make the sauce: In a small bowl, mix together the oyster sauce, sugar, white pepper, dark soy sauce, and soy sauce. 3. In a large pan over high heat, fry the protein until it is about 80% done, about 6 minutes, then remove from the pan and set aside. 4. Add the onion, garlic, and Chinese broccoli to the same pan and cook for about 3 minutes, until starting to soften, then add the noodles. Immediately add the sauce to the pan and gently toss until just combined. 5. Push the noodles and veggies to one side of the pan and pour the eggs into the empty space. Scramble until just set, about 1 minute, then stir into the noodles and veggies. 6. Add the protein and toss to combine. 7. Serve immediately. 8. Enjoy!

Pumpkin Spice Crème Brûlée
Pumpkin spice season is coming baby! @groovyfoodiess This is the perfect easy-yet-impressive dessert to make for a dinner party to wow all of your guests. It comes together with just a few ingredients and doesn't require any fancy kitchen equipment! INGREDIENTS -5 large egg yolks -1 cup granulated sugar, divided -2 cups heavy cream -3 tsp pumpkin spice seasoning -2 tsp vanilla extract -Pinch of kosher salt -2 cups hot water (for baking) -6 ice cubes -¼ cup room temperature water -Fruit of choice, for garnish Preparation 1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and ½ cup sugar until smooth. 3. Add the heavy cream to a medium pot and warm over medium heat just until steam starts rising from the surface, about 3 minutes. DO NOT let it boil! Add the pumpkin spice seasoning, vanilla, and salt and whisk to combine, then turn off the heat. 4. While whisking, slowly pour about ½ cup of the hot cream into the egg and sugar mixture (this is called tempering, which gently heats the eggs without causing them to curdle). 5. Slowly pour the egg mixture into the pot with the remaining heavy cream and whisk to combine. Pour the custard through a fine-mesh sieve into a medium bowl to remove any solids. 6. Place 4-8 ramekins in a baking dish with sides the same height (or taller) than the ramekins. Ladle the egg mixture into the ramekins, dividing evenly. If you’d like, skim off excess foam on the surface.Carefully pour the hot water into the pan, being careful not to splash into the ramekins (the water bath will help the crème brûlée cook evenly). 7. Carefully transfer the pan with the ramekins to the oven and, if desired, throw the ice cubes into the bottom of the oven to create a more humid baking environment. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the custard has set and the centers are only slightly jiggly. 8. Remove from the oven and let cool at room temperature for 2 hours, then remove the ramekins from the water bath, cover, and refrigerate overnight. 9. Before serving, melt together the remaining ½ cup sugar and the room temperature water in a medium pan over medium heat until deeply caramelized, 6–10 minutes. DO NOT STIR, just swirl the pan gently if needed to melt evenly. This ensures the caramel won’t crystallize. 10. Pour the caramel into the ramekins, then quickly tilt the ramekins around to fully cover the custard. Let sit for a few minutes to solidify. 11. Top with your fruit of choice and serve immediately. 12. Enjoy!

They’re creamy, comforting, and so delightful ☺️ Recipe below‼️ INGREDIENTS 2 large eggs 1 Tbsp heavy cream 2 Tbsp freshly grated Gruyère cheese 2 Tbsp ham steak, cut into small cubes 1 tsp kosher salt 2 slices crusty bread 1 Tbsp butter For Garnish Pinch of flaky salt Freshly ground black pepper Red pepper flakes Finely chopped fresh chives Special Equipment Small ramekin or cocotte with lid (or foil if the ramekin doesn’t have a lid) PREPARATION 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Bring about 2 cups of water to a boil in a small saucepan. 2. Carefully crack the eggs into a ramekin or small cocotte. Add the cream, kosher salt, Gruyère, and ham. 3. Cover the ramekin with a lid or foil and place in a high-walled baking dish. Carefully pour the boiling water into the dish, so it comes about two-thirds of the way up the sides of the ramekin. 4. Carefully transfer the entire dish to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, until the egg whites are cooked but the yolks are still runny. 5. Meanwhile, heat a medium pan over medium-high heat. Spread the butter over both sides of the bread and toast in the pan for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown. 6. Remove the baking dish from the oven and carefully lift the ramekin out. 7. Garnish the eggs with flaky salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and chives. Serve with the toasted bread. 8. Enjoy!

Century Egg with Congee
@jasmineandtea Century eggs, a Chinese delicacy, are made by preserving duck eggs. The flavor is rich and pungent and they pair so well with a comforting bowl of congee. 1 cup cooked rice 2 cups chicken broth, plus more as needed, divided 2 tsp neutral oil Julienned ginger Crushed garlic cloves Salt, to taste Black pepper, to taste Fish sauce, to taste 1 century egg (preserved duck egg) Toppings: Sesame oil Scallions Black pepper -Add the rice and half of the chicken broth to a blender and process until the rice granules look slightly crushed and uniform. -Heat the oil in a high-walled skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté the ginger and garlic until aromatic, about 3 minutes. -Pour the rice mixture into the pan, along with the remaining broth. Bring to a boil, then cover, reduce the heat to low, and simmer until thickened, about 7 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and fish sauce to taste, then slice the century egg crosswise and add it to the congee to heat through. You can add another splash of broth as needed to loosen the consistency. -Transfer the congee to a bowl and garnish with a drizzle of sesame oil, scallions, and black pepper. -Enjoy!

Uncrustable Waffle
@alexawhatsfordinner decided to turn a waffle into an Uncrustable and it was ✨magical!✨ You can try it with this delicious homemade jam and homemade peanut butter, or use store-bought! Recipe below‼️ INGREDIENTS 2 cups chopped fresh strawberries 2 cups fresh raspberries ½ cup granulated sugar Juice of 1 lemon 1 cup roasted unsalted peanuts ½ tsp kosher salt 1½ tsp honey 1 8-oz package of crescent roll dough Nonstick cooking spray, for greasing Special Equipment Small waffle maker PREPARATION 1. Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the strawberries, raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice and stir to combine. Use a potato masher to smash the fruit, then cook, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is thickened to the consistency of jam. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool completely. The jam will keep in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for about 3 weeks. 2. Add the peanuts and salt to a food processor and blend, stopping every minute to scrape down the sides, until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 10 minutes total. 3. Remove the crescent roll dough from the container and cut it into 4 smaller circles (about the size of the small waffle maker). 4. Heat the small waffle maker and grease with nonstick spray. Place a dough circle onto the waffle maker, then add about 1 tablespoon of the peanut butter to the center. Top with about a tablespoon of the jam, then place another dough circle on top. Close the waffle maker and cook for about 10 minutes, until deep golden brown. Remove from waffle iron and repeat to make another waffle. 5. Enjoy!
