Not really a set recipe on this one. I used purple cabbage (which turns the liquid a lovely purple), onion, celery, corn, carrots, garlic, 6.5 cups of chicken broth (use whatever type of broth you like - vegetable, low-sodium, etc.), and a few cups of water. Typically I use green cabbage. I used a quarter of a very large cabbage. I try to get the ratio 50-50 in terms of cabbage vs. the other vegetables. The amount of liquid you use will depend on the amount of vegetables you use and how much liquid you want for your soup. I bring it to a boil and let it simmer for a little while until the vegetables are relatively soft.
