‘Güllaç’, a traditional Turkish dessert

‘Güllaç’ is a cold dessert that dates back to Ottoman times. It is a fluffy and milky dessert made with layers of paper-thin cornstarch leaves soaked with sweetened milk and flavored with rose water. Typically garnished with fresh pomegranate seeds and pistachios or walnuts.
