Strawberry-Almond Cream Tart

Ended our weekend with dinner at my in-laws. This is a new dessert she wanted to try out. She says we're her culinary "guinea pigs". :-)

It's a graham cracker crust with a bottom layer of cream cheese and glazed strawberries on top. The almond flavor is very light and doesn't overpower the strawberries. She also cut the amount of sugar called for in the recipe, so it's not too sweet. Oh yes, we added whipped cream on top. :-)

Mmmmmmm....definitely another delicious recipe for her dessert repertoire.
