A custard-like baked French dessert made with cherries and dusted with powdered sugar.
Clafoutis is traditionally made with the cherry pits intact because they impart a subtle almond flavor when baked. I, however, chose to remove the pits from the cherries and added almond extract instead.
Beverage: Dammann Frères’s ‘Jardin Bleu' tea. Unsweetened.
