Earl grey waffle recipe:
1 1/2 cups milk
4 tbs earl grey tea leaves, divided
1/4 cup sugar
1 3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1 tbs baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs
50g unsalted butter, melted
2 tbs vegetable oil
1. Bring milk to a boil and add 2 tbs tea leaves. Let to steep overnight in the fridge
2. Finely grind remaining 2 tbs tea leaves.
3. Sift flour sugar baking powder salt and tea leaves into a medium bowl.
4. Strain milk into a bowl and combine with butter, egg, oil.
5. Add wet to dry ingredients and mix until combined and no traces of flour seen. Leave to rest for 5 min.
6. Grease and preheat waffle iron and cook waffles according to manufacturer's instructions
