Bring Summer Into Your Home With DIY Snow Cones & a Snowball Cocktail
Follow Dini Klein as she brings summer fun indoors with a V8 +Energy®-infused Orange Pineapple Snowball cocktail, followed by a DIY snow cone craft for the kiddos — because even busy moms deserve a vacation, brunch-style! Sponsored by V8® Orange Pineapple Snowball with Tequila Serves: 2 Ingredients: For syrup- 1/2 cup V8 +ENERGY® Orange Pineapple 3/4 cups sugar juice of 1 lemon 1 chili pepper or jalapeno (to taste) For Assembly- 3 tablespoons tequila Directions: 1. Mix V8, sugar, lemon juice, and chili or jalapeno together in a small pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for 3-4 minutes until all the sugar has dissolved and mixture has thickened slightly. Let cool completely (remove the pepper if it’s spicy enough otherwise leave it in with the mixture), and store in the fridge. 2. When ready to make cocktail add the tequila to syrup and mix well. Make snow and place one snowball in two highball glasses. Pour syrup/tequila mixture over (either with a spoon or squeeze bottle) and top with candied orange slices, lemon slices, and fresh edible flowers if you can find!
