Eat With Your Eyez has added a photo to the pool:
I was up at 5:45 am and my mind was trying to decide what to bake. I decided to try making my first galette. I mixed cherries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and pecans. I made a mixture of cream cheese, cinnamon, almond extract to spread under the fruit. I cut out the stars in the edge of the dough, hoping to see them in the finished product some but that didn't happen. I attached the stars on the outside to give it a more finished look. I hope it tastes great later when it gets cut.
