Pistachio Frangipane Tart
A chocolate tart crust baked with a rich and decadent pistachio filling. Chilled, sliced, and served topped with a pistachio flavored whipped cream and a halved Oreo Thins pistachio creme cookie. Beside the slice of tart is a Cacao Santa Fe solid 64% dark chocolate turtle.
(The filling for the tart consists of homemade pistachio paste, sugar, unsalted butter, eggs, Sicilian fine sea salt, and food coloring.
All-purpose flour, Pernigotti unsweetened cocoa powder, sugar, unsalted butter, and Sicilian fine sea salt were used to make the crust.
Heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, pistachio extract, and green food coloring were used to make the whipped cream.)
