Cheesy Jalapeño "Faux-ritos"

Cheesy Jalapeño "Faux-ritos"

Make them:

small corn tortillas (as many as you like), cut in quarters
lime juice (I put mine in a spray bottle for easier application)
powdered cheese (the kind you get in Mac & Cheese), to taste
jalapeno powder, to taste
salt, to taste
spray oil

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Arrange tortilla pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet in one layer.
Mist with lime juice and sprinkle evenly with cheese, jalapeno powder and salt.
Mist lightly with oil.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned and crispy.

Note: to make plain salted lime chips, omit the cheese and jalapeno powder and up the amount of salt you use (you can also mix tequila and lime juice to spray!)
