Lavender and honey pancakes

Lavender and honey pancakes


Recipe:

1 1/2 tbs dried lavender

1 cup milk

1 cup flour

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Pinch salt

2 tbs sugar

2 tbs honey

1 egg

1 tbs melted butter, more to grease



1. Heat milk and lavender in a small saucepan until it comes to a simmer. Let steep for 15 min before covering and refrigerating overnight

2. Sift together flour baking powder salt and sugar. In a small bowl whisk together milk honey egg butter. (You can opt to strain out the lavender flowers if you desire)

3. Add wet to dry ingredients and fold in gently until dry ingredients are incorporated but may be slightly lumpy. Leave to rest 10 min.

4. On a greased frying pan over medium heat, drop 1/4 cupfuls of batter and cook until bubbles form on the surface and underside is well browned. Flip and cook remaining side
