Chocolate salamis seem to be a newish thing. I needed a reward for writing a chapter a day during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). Prolifiko advocates having a small reward right after writing. Making yourself feel good helps you return, especially on those days with the imagination stutters along.
Today, I tried a couple small slices of Hummingbird Chocolate’s fig and rosemary chocolate salami. Aromatic Rosemary surprised me first. A tantalizing hint that drew me in. Then the soft bite of walnut. And lastly the lusciously smooth fruity dark chocolate. Whoa. This was the kind of reward I needed after today’s session was tough on my whole body not just fingers objecting to typing at top speed.
