FarmerLynn has added a photo to the pool:
STEW
1 1/2 cup soy curls, soaked and chopped
1 onion, diced
6 carrots, peeled and diced
2 lbs yellow potatoes, peeled and diced
1 cup frozen corn
1 cup frozen peas
5 cups broth
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp sage
½ tsp thyme
4 TBSP arrowroot powder (or corn starch)
1 TBSP miso
4 TBSP water
½ cup plant milk
Add all STEW ingredients to slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours. Mix arrowroot powder and miso with water in a small bowl and add to stew. Cook at high for 30 minutes to thicken. Turn off heat and add milk
Makes 6 servings.
