Pear and chocolate clafoutis *RECIPE*

4 pears, peeled, cored & finely chopped
75g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
3 eggs
75g sugar
60g flour
250ml milk

In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar. Continue to beat while adding the flour, then the milk.
Spread half the pear slices in a large buttered tart dish. Sprinkle the chocolate over this layer then cover with the rest of the pear slices.
Pour the batter over the top, then bake at 180°C for approximately 45 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
Can be served hot or cold, decorated with icing sugar if desired.
