Sakura hotcakes


Japanese hotcakes with sakura shiro-an and strawberries

Recipe:

Sift 150g cake flour 2 tsp baking powder 40g sugar into a bowl.

In another bowl whisk 140ml milk 1 egg 1 tbs oil 1 tbs honey and 2 tsp vanilla until well blended.

Whisk wet into dry ingredients, until no streaks of flour remaining, batter will be slightly lumpy. leave aside for 5 min.

Preheat greased griddle pan. Cool on a wet towel slightly before adding 1/4 cup of pancake mixture.

Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until browned
