Brown the butter: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Continue cooking and stirring regularly until it foams and then turns golden brown and smells nutty. Remove from heat immediately. 2. Heat treat the flour: Place flour in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 2 minutes, then stir to remove any clumps. Alternatively, you can bake it. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), spread the flour evenly on a baking sheet, and bake for 5 minutes or until the flour reaches 160°F (71°C). Let it cool completely. 3. In a bowl, add the browned butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla paste, salt, and 2 tablespoons of milk. Beat with a hand mixer until the mixture is fluffy, about 3 minutes. 4. Gradually add the heat-treated flour to the bowl, mixing until just combined. If the dough is too thick, add the remaining milk, a ½ tablespoon at a time (up to 1 tablespoon more if needed), until you reach the desired consistency. 5. Using a rubber spatula, fold in both the semisweet and milk chocolate chips. 6. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired. 7. Store the cookie dough in the refrigerator. It will harden once chilled as the butter solidifies. Let rest at room temperature before serving. 8. Enjoy!

Peach Tea Brine Chicken

(peach emoji) INGREDIENTS Peach Tea Brine: 2 liters water 10 Country Peach Passion tea bags ½ cup brown sugar ⅓ cup kosher salt 1 tablespoon black peppercorns 4 garlic cloves, smashed 5 bay leaves 1 lemon, sliced 2 yellow peaches, pitted and sliced Chicken: 1 whole chicken, cut into parts 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon smoked paprika ½ teaspoon black pepper Sticky Peach sauce: 1 cup peach preserves 2 tablespoon rice wine vinegar 2 tablespoons unsalted butter ½ cup unsweetened peach tea ¼ cup light brown sugar PREPARATION 1. In a large pot combine water, peach tea bags, brown sugar, salt, peppercorns, garlic cloves, bay leaves, lemon slices, and peach slices. 2. Bring to a very light simmer over low heat and stir until the salt and sugar are dissolved. Remove from the heat, let the mixture cool down. You can add 2 cups of ice to help speed up the process. 3. Add the brine to the chicken pieces making sure they are fully submerged in the brine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 10 hours or overnight. 4. Remove the chicken from the brine. Discard the mixture and use paper towels to pat the chicken pieces dry. 5. In a saucepan over medium heat, add peach preserves, rice wine vinegar, butter, peach tea, and brown sugar. Stir to combine. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until it's reduced and the sauce is thick and sticky. 6. Preheat the grill to medium high heat (350ºF). 7. Season chicken with a drizzle of olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. 8. Oil the grill grates, and place chicken on the grill. Once chicken reaches an internal temperature of 120ºF, flip so that they are skin side down. Cook until the skin has a nice char. Glaze with the sticky peach sauce. 9. When chicken reaches 165ºF, remove from the grill. 10. Serve with grilled peaches and more peach sauce. Enjoy!

@groovyfoodiess The perfect picnic food! Ingredients: -1 cup rice, cooked -½ can Spam, cubed -1 Tbsp soy sauce -1 Tbsp sugar -2 Tbsp bbq sauce -3 eggs -spray oil -4 Tbsp furikake Garnish: -chives -kewpie mayo -seaweed strips Steps: 1. Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside to cool. 2. Cube spam into small bites, set aside. 3. In a large pan on medium heat, spray with cooking oil before adding spam. Toast on all sides until slightly brown, about 3 minutes. 4. Add in the soy sauce, sugar, and bbq sauce, and cook for another 3 minutes or until the sauce thickens to liking. Remove and set aside. 5. In a bowl, mix your eggs to scramble. 6. In the same pan over medium heat, spray with cooking oil and scramble the eggs until set, about 1 minute. Set aside. 7. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled cooked rice with spam, scrambled egg, and furikake. 8. Mix well and form into round balls. 9. Wrap the rice balls with the seaweed strips and top with kewpie and chives. 10. Enjoy immediately!

Spicy Garlic Miso Pastina
@groovyfoodiess Garlicky overload with this spicy miso pastina! @groovyfoodiess Ingredients: -1 tbsp olive oil -1 head of garlic, about 12 cloves, sliced thinly -1 tbsp red pepper flakes -2 tbsp butter -3 tbsp tomato paste -2 tbsp miso -4 cups chicken broth -1 tsp chicken bouillon -½ lb pastina -½ tsp fish sauce -salt and pepper to taste -½ cup grated parmesan cheese Garnish: -chives -parmesan cheese -fried garlic Steps: 1. In a large pan on medium heat, add in olive oil. 2. Add in your sliced garlic and fry for about 1 minute until fragrant. Remove about 10 slices of crispy garlic and set aside to use for garnish. 3. To the pan, add in the red pepper flakes and the butter. Cook for about 2 minutes, or until the garlic gets more golden. 4. Next, add in the tomato paste and mix well with the garlic and red pepper. Allow the tomato paste to fry for a bit to bring out more of the tomato flavor, about 1 minute. 5. Then mix in the miso paste to combine. Add in the chicken broth and mix everything together. Bring to a light simmer, for about 5-7 minutes. 6. Add in ½ a pound of pastina and cook for about 12 minutes or until al dente. Be sure to mix regularly to ensure the pastina does not burn on the bottom of your pot. 7. Once the pastina reaches desired texture, add in ½ a cup of Parmesan cheese and stir to combine. 8. Serve immediately with more Parmesan cheese, fried garlic chips, and chopped chives!

Ingredients: Strawberry Syrup: - 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped - 1 cup granulated sugar - 1/3 cup water - 1/2 tablespoon lemon zest Cream Cheese Whipped Cream: - 8 oz block of cream cheese, softened - 3/4 cup granulated sugar - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1 cup heavy whipping cream Pound Cake: - 1 store-bought pound cake (or any preferred pound cake) - Butter (for brushing) - Turbinado (raw) sugar (optional, for pre-grill sprinkling) Graham Cracker Crumble: - 4-6 graham crackers Garnish: - Lemon zest - Mint Instructions: Prepare the Strawberry Syrup: In a medium saucepan, combine chopped strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon zest. Simmer over low to medium heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries break down and the mixture thickens. Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove seeds and pulp. Set aside to cool. Make the Cream Cheese Whipped Cream: In a mixing bowl with an electric hand mixer or in the bowl of a stand mixer, whip the softened cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and continue to whip until combined. Gradually pour in the heavy whipping cream while continuing to whip. Whip until the mixture is light, fluffy, and well combined. Set aside. Grill the Pound Cake: Preheat your grill to medium heat. Slice the pound cake into 1 to 2-inch thick slices. Brush both sides of each slice with melted butter.Sprinkle one side of each slice with turbinado sugar, if using. Place the slices on the grill, sugar side down first, and grill for about 4 minutes until golden brown and slightly crispy. Flip the slices with tongs or a grill spatula and grill the other side for another 4 minutes. While the pound cake is grilling, place graham crackers in a bag, and crush into small pieces using a mallet, back of a chef knife, or any other heavy kitchen utensils. Set aside. Assemble: Place a slice of grilled pound cake on each serving plate. Top with a generous dollop of cream cheese whipped cream. Drizzle with fresh strawberry syrup. Sprinkle the graham cracker crumble over the top. Garnish with a bit of fresh lemon zest for extra flavor, mint, and a strawberry for presentation. Enjoy!

In a pan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until soft and fragrant. Add the jalapeño and Fresno peppers, cooking for another 2-3 minutes. 2. Deglaze the pan with wine and let simmer for 2-3 minutes. 3. Add the clams and cover the pan. Cook until the clams open, which could take 5-10 minutes depending on their size. Mango Sticky Rice Sundae
@hrnaeatz_ Ingredients: 5 honey mangos 2 (13.5-ounce) cans coconut milk, divided ½ cup + 1 tbsp white sugar, divided 1 cup sticky rice (glutinous rice) 1 tsp cornstarch 1 tsp sesame seeds, for garnish Directions: 1. Peel 4 mangos, cut into large chunks, and place in a zippered bag. Seal the bag and lay flat in the freezer until completely frozen. 2. Add the frozen mango chunks to a food processor. Blend for about 2 minutes, scraping down the sides, until a powdery consistency is reached. 3. Add ½ cup coconut milk and 1 tablespoon sugar. Continue to blend until smooth, scraping down the sides occasionally. Transfer to an airtight container and place in the freezer for about 1 hour, or until set. 5. Meanwhile, start on your rice and sweet coconut cream. 6. Make the sticky rice: Thoroughly wash and drain the glutinous rice and place in your rice cooker. Add water about an inch above the rice level (roughly 1 cup). Cook according to rice cooker settings. 7. Make the sweet coconut cream: In a small pot, add 1 can coconut milk, remaining ½ cup sugar, and a pinch of salt. Cook over low heat until sugar completely dissolves. Reserve 1 cup of the mixture in a separate container. 8. Place the pot with the remaining mixture back over low heat and add in a cornstarch slurry (1 tbsp water + 1 tsp cornstarch). Cook until thickened into a glaze. Set aside. 10. Once your rice is ready, add the reserved coconut cream (not the glaze, babe). Gently work it into the rice. Set aside. 11. Peel and slice the remaining mango. 12. Scoop your sticky rice and mango sorbet into a tall glass alternating between the two. Layer in your mango slices and coconut glaze, then top with some sesame seeds. 13. Serve and enjoy, babe! :)

Pulled BBQ Jerk Mushroom Sandwich
@tappedinwellness PULLED BBQ JERK MUSHROOM SANDWICH INGREDIENTS 8-10 king oyster mushrooms 2 tsp allspice 1 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp dried thyme ½ tsp cinnamon ½ tsp cayenne Oil, for coating ½ cup BBQ sauce Curry Slaw: 1/4 red cabbage, sliced 1/4 green cabbage, sliced 1/3 cup grated carrots 3½ tbsp vegan mayo 2 tbsp curry powder Juice of 1 lime Pinch of salt and cracked black pepper INSTRUCTIONS Preheat the oven to 400ºF (200ºC). Shred the king oyster mushrooms with a fork and transfer to a large bowl. Add the allspice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cinnamon, cayenne, and enough oil to coat, then mix until well combined. Sauté in a large skillet over medium-high heat until the mushrooms have reduced by about half in size. Pour the BBQ sauce over the mushrooms, stir to combine, and roast in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes. Meanwhile, place all the slaw ingredients in a medium bowl and mix to combine. Assemble the sandwich and enjoy.

@mymanabites Crispy air fryer asparagus fries in under 15 minutes, let me show you how! Simply use fresh asparagus, coat in batter, then roll in panko and Parmesan. Air-fry until golden without overcrowding for crunch. Enjoy these quick and crispy treats! Crispy Air Fryer Asparagus Fries Ingredients: - Asparagus spears (1 lb thick or ½ lb thin) - 3 tbsp all-purpose flour - 2 eggs - Seasonings: ½ tsp each of salt, garlic powder, creole seasoning, onion powder; ¼ tsp smoked paprika - ¾ cup panko breadcrumbs - ¼ cup grated Parmesan - Non-stick spray Dipping Sauce: - ½ cup sour cream - 1 tbsp chopped chives - 1 minced garlic clove - Salt to taste - ¼ tsp smoked paprika Instructions: 1. Wash and trim asparagus. Mix flour, eggs, and seasonings for batter. Combine panko and Parmesan in another dish. 2. Dip asparagus in batter, then in panko mix. Preheat air fryer to 425°F. 3. Arrange spears in a single layer, spray optionally, and air-fry for 8-10 minutes. Ensure not to overcrowd the basket to allow adequate circulation for crisping. 4. While the asparagus cooks, prepare the dipping sauce. In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, chopped chives, minced garlic, salt, and smoked paprika until well combined. 4. Serve crispy asparagus with sauce immediately. Enjoy!

Crispy, flavorful, and so delicious! #Broccoli #SideDish #cooking #garlic #smashedbroccoli #roasted #veggies Crispy Smashed Broccoli Ingredients: - 8 cups bite-size broccoli florets (about 1 pound) - 2 tbsp olive oil - 2 tbsp melted butter - 4 garlic cloves, minced - 1 tsp salt - ½ tsp ground black pepper - ½ tsp smoked paprika - ½ tsp garlic granules - ½ cup shredded Parmesan cheese - Balsamic glaze, for drizzling Directions: 1. Position oven rack 6 inches from broiler. Preheat broiler to high. 2. Steam or boil broccoli. For steaming bring a few inches of water to a boil in a large pot fitted with a steamer basket. Steam broccoli until just tender, about 3-4 minutes. 3. Spread broccoli on a large lined baking sheet. Using the bottom of a Mason jar, sturdy glass, or potato masher to flatten each floret. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic granules. Drizzle this mixture over the broccoli, ensuring each piece is well-coated. 4. Evenly distribute the shredded Parmesan over the florets, about 1 tsp on each. 5. Broil until the broccoli is crispy, lightly browned, and the cheese has melted, 3 to 4 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on it. 6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving. Enjoy your flavorful and crispy smashed broccoli! Optional you can make a sauce but its not needed: Garlic Aioli Sauce: - 1/2 cup mayonnaise - 2 tbsp olive oil - Juice of 1 lemon - 1 tbsp of Garlic of Eden Seasoning @Floraandmana - 2 garlic cloves, minced - 1/2 tsp salt ( to taste ) Tip: Balsamic glaze is balsamic vinegar that’s cooked until it’s very thick. Look for it with other types of vinegar in well-stocked supermarkets, or make it yourself by boiling 1 cup balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until syrupy and reduced to about 1/4 cup, 10 to 14 minutes.

Pesto Shakshuka
@kaigrayson Ingredients Pesto (or sub with 12 oz of your favorite pesto): 4 oz fresh basil leaves ½ cup pine nuts 3 garlic cloves Juice of 1 lemon ½ tbsp sea salt, plus more to taste ½ cup olive oil Shakshuka: 2 tbsp olive oil 1 small yellow onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 cups spinach, roughly chopped 2 (15.5-ounce) cans cannellini beans, drained Juice of ½ lemon 1 tsp coriander ¾ tsp cumin 4-6 large eggs (depending on desired servings) Sea salt, to taste Freshly ground black pepper, to taste Crumbled feta cheese and chili flakes, for serving 1 lightly toasted baguette/crusty bread/pita, for serving Preparation 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). 2. Make the pesto: In a blender, combine the basil, pine nuts, garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Pulse until finely chopped. With the blender running, drizzle in the olive oil until well blended and smooth. Season with salt to taste. Set aside. 3. Make the shakshuka: In a large cast iron skillet over medium-high heat, warm the olive oil. Add the onion and garlic; sauté until the onion is softened. Add the spinach and continue cooking for about 2 minutes, or until the spinach is slightly wilted. 4. Add the beans and stir to combine. Reduce the heat to low and add the lemon juice, coriander, and cumin. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes. 5. Add the pesto and stir until incorporated. 6. With a spoon or spatula, make 4-6 wells for the eggs. Gently crack an egg into each well and season each with salt and pepper. 7. Place the skillet into the preheated oven and bake for 7-10 minutes, until the eggs have set. 8. Garnish with feta cheese and chili flakes. Serve with toasted bread. 9. Enjoy!
