I did not buy all of these small cartons of vegan ice cream for this picture. I have had some of these cartons in the freezer for a few years now. I really liked the So Delicious chocolate and cashew milk ice cream at first, but over time I just starting feeling that it was too rich. I didn't like the Ben & Jerry's Non-Dairy Cherry Garcia as much as I had hoped, and it was probably the same for Archer Farms Cashew Caramel, which is in the stack in the middle, and is the one opened as well. As for the Nada Moo Strawberry Cheesecake -- I can't remember if I didn't like it that much or just didn't finish it because I didn't really want ice cream anymore at that time.
I don't ever put ice cream in a bowl but just eat it out of the cartons because I don't share my vegan ice cream with my husband. He is not vegan and is not really interested in my ice cream.
As for the cranes, I have 12 here made out of glittery mauve 'party paper,' which is all that it says on the package. They were hard to make at first, because the paper was rather thick. After making a few cranes, I realized the paper had a sticky backing, which is not mentioned on the package. So I thought about what I could use instead of that backing to make the cranes thinner. I settled on plastic from sandwich bags, which was a mistake, as I forgot about my difficulty making cranes out of plastic. The cranes don't stay folded that well, and it was a race against time to take a few pictures and not have the wings fold down again.
Cranes so far:
gold/23, silver/22, plastic/12, mauve/12 = 69
