RECIPE Ingredients: 2 ½ cups Oreos, crushed 4 egg yolks ½ cup sugar 2 tablespoons water 1 ¾ cups mascarpone 4 tablespoons heavy cream 2 tablespoons vanilla extract 1 cup brewed coffee, strong to taste Cocoa powder, bitter, for topping Steps: 1. On top of a pot of boiling water, place a medium glass bowl (the bowl should fit over the heated pot so it sits without any boiling water overflowing). In the glass bowl, beat the egg yolks with sugar and water until it creates a foam. Carefully, remove the pot with the glass bowl from heat, and continue mixing with an electric beater until it cools. 2. In another bowl, beat the mascarpone with the heavy cream and vanilla until consistent. Add the egg yolk mixture with enveloping, circular motions. 3. To assemble, place a layer of crushed Oreos, drench with coffee, and spread the mascarpone cream on top. Continue to layer all 3 in the same order until complete. 4. Dust with cocoa powder. 5. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Haymarket is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is located at the southern end of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Sydney. Haymarket includes much of Sydney's Chinatown,
Sydney's produce markets were located in Haymarket from the early 20th century through to the 1980s when they were moved to a new site at Flemington. Paddy's Markets still operate on part of the site of the vegetable markets as a produce and flea market.
The 'Market City' complex contains the markets, The Peak apartment building, a modern shopping centre featuring a food court, restaurants, boutiques, specialty shops and entertainment options, such as an amusement centre.
The outer walls of the original vegetable market, built in 1909, were preserved and restored as an example of Edwardian architecture.
Today, located within the heritage significant red-brick façade, is the 1909 Dining Precinct. With interiors inspired by the juxtaposition between old and new, this new food offering pays homage to our rich history. This new restaurant precinct is on Level 3.
A revamped food court is on Level 1.

Brown it on medium high until it's the color brown. Add in: 1 teaspoon of salt 1 tablespoon chilli powder 1 tablespoon cumin Mix that all up and add in some water if it's really dry which it probably is Add in 3 cups of basil tomato sauce or whatever tomato sauce Cook that all together until it's hot and somewhat thick Take a container of ricotta cheese (15oz/475ml) and shred in a clove of garlic and wangjangle tf out of that then add in a cup and a half of shredded mozzarella and also wandjangle tf out of that Take an 8 inch baking dish and put a thin layer of sauce on the bottom Oh don't forget to preheat that undoh on three seventy fundo Add in a layer of sauce Add a layer of expertly cracked noodles Add in a layer of sauce A layer of ricotta with two smug spoons Then more noodles, sauce, ricotta, (once or twice more depending on the thickness of your ingredient distribution and your feelings on noodles) Then add a thick layer of mozzarella on top. More than I did. Or use parmesan like a lot of people do. By the way I was totally kidding when I said you could season the beef in the boring way with an onion. Lasagna has a very rich history and classic lasagna is very delicious, although I bet you could get a lot of people fighting over what classic lasagna is, exactly. I just didn't feel like dicing an onion when someone had already diced the chilli powder and cumin for me. Oh right, cook it for 30 to 40 minutes ish. After you put that foil on top. Then take off that foil and cook it for another ten a bit higher if you want to really melt and/or slightly brown that cheese. Let me know what I forgot or what I wrote wrong here and then I'll fix it later maybe.

Bran Fruit Loaf just out of the oven

BRAN FRUIT LOAF
2 oz All-Bran cereal 50 g
2½oz Caster Sugar 75 g
5 oz Mixed Dried Fruit 150g
¼ pint Milk 150ml
2 oz Self Raising Flour 50 g
Good pinch mixed spice.
METHOD
1. Put All-Bran, sugar and fruit in a basin and mix well.
2. Stir in milk thoroughly, leave to stand for ½ hour.
3. Sieve in flour and spice mixing well.
4. Put into a well-greased, small (1lb) loaf tin.
5. Bake approx 45 minutes Reg 3.160ºC,325ºF.
6. Test with a skewer, comes out clean if ready.
7. Turn out immediately and allow to cool.
N.B. Cuts better if left till next day.
I prefer it spread with butter / Flora.

Follow Coni'Seafood: @coniseafood RECIPE Ingredients: 2 pounds white Mexican shrimp (or other large shrimp) peeled and deveined 10 jalapeños, washed, dried, and stems removed (remove seeds and devein if you want a milder salsa) 10 to 12 limes, divided, plus 4 whole limes for garnish Sea salt, to taste 1/2 red onion, diced 2 large cucumbers 3 medium tomatoes, drained, seeded and diced Corn oil, for frying Corn tortillas Steps: 1. First, prepare the Nayarit-style salsa verde: Place the jalapeños into a blender with the lime juice. Puree until blended, and add salt to taste. Set aside. 2. In a non-reactive bowl, combine shrimp, red onion and juice of 5 to 7 limes and set aside to marinate for 5 minutes. Add salt to taste. Add the cucumber, tomato, then stir in the salsa verde. Taste and add salt or a little more lime juice if needed. 3. Using a 2-inch round cookie cutter, cut the tortillas into small rounds. Fill a pan halfway up with the corn oil and heat over medium-high heat. Fry the tortillas until crispy and golden brown. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate to cool. 4. RECIPE Ingredients: 1 large eggplant 2 eggs 1/4 cup butter, melted 1 cup breadcrumbs (or panko) 2 tablespoons dried Italian herbs Salt and pepper to taste 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated 1 (48 ounces) jar of tomato sauce (feel free to make your own) 1 pound fresh mozzarella, sliced into rounds Fresh basil for garnish Steps: 1. Preheat oven to 400°F and prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack. 2. Prepare eggplant by slicing into 1/4-inch thick rounds. 3. Whisk eggs together with cool, melted butter and season with salt and pepper. Prepare breadcrumbs, mixing together with Italian herbs, salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese. 4. Bread eggplant starting with egg/butter mixture followed by breadcrumbs. Place on prepared baking sheet and repeat with remaining eggplant slices. 5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy. 6. To assemble, slather enough sauce to cover the bottom of your casserole dish, layer with crispy eggplant (cutting to fit if necessary). 7. Dollop more sauce on top of each eggplant slice, followed by 1 slice of mozzarella and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Repeat with second layer, filling in spaces with more sauce. 8. Bake until golden and bubbly, about 15-20 minutes. RECIPE Ingredients: 1/3 cup light strawberry puree 2 tablespoons heavy strawberry puree 1/2 cup chocolate, melted Milk agar-agar: 2 1/2 cups milk 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 tablespoon agar-agar powder Steps: 1. In a sauce pot over medium heat, add milk, sugar and agar-agar powder. 2. Using two bowls, pour 1/2 cup of the mixture into each bowl. In one bowl, add the light strawberry puree, and add the heavy strawberry puree to the other bowl. Pour each mixture into a mold, then cool in the refrigerator until solidified. 3. Transfer the solidified strawberry balls into a large bowl and pour 1 1/4 cups of the milk agar-agar mixture over the top. 4. Add the melted chocolate to the rest of the milk agar-agar mixture, then pour it on top of the bowl. RECIPES Ingredients: Microwave Quiche: 2 eggs 1 slice ham, chopped Raw spinach to taste 1 tbsp scallions, chopped 1 sundried tomato, chopped 1 tbsp shredded cheddar Salt & pepper to taste On-The-Go Noodle Soup: 1 small pkg bean thread noodles ¼ cup cooked shredded chicken 1 tbsp scallions 2 tbsp frozen peas & carrots Chicken bouillon powder to taste Sesame oil to taste 1 ½ cups boiling water Mac & Cheese Bake: 1 ½ cups heavy cream 1 ½ cups evaporated milk 16 oz shredded cheese 8 oz elbow pasta Salt & pepper to taste ½ cup cheesy crackers, crushed Stovetop Cookies: Premade chocolate chip cookie dough Steps: 1. Microwave Quiche: coat a microwave-safe bowl with cooking spray, add eggs and scramble, mix in the rest of the ingredients, and microwave for 1 minute. 2. On-The-Go Noodle Soup: add all ingredients to an insulated stainless steel flask, cover well, gently shake, and let sit for 5 minutes. 3. Mac & Cheese Bake: preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a baking dish and then combine all ingredients (leave crackers and some shredded cheese for the topping). Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes or until pasta is al dente. Remove foil and top with crushed crackers and the rest of the cheese. Bake until golden brown and bubbly. 4. Stovetop Cookies: Heat non-stick pan on medium-low. Slice cookie dough into thin rounds, place on the pan, cover with a lid and let it cook all the way through. RECIPE Ingredients: Ganache: 4 ounces block chocolate of your choice 1/4 cup canned lite coconut milk (or thickened/heavy cream) 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract Churro Cakes: 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 4 tablespoons light butter/spread of choice, melted (or canola oil/melted coconut oil) 1 large egg 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1/2 cup low fat milk (or almond milk) Coating: 1/4 cup sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Steps: 1. First make the ganache. Break up the chocolate block and combine the chocolate and coconut milk (or heavy cream) together in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 seconds. Stir and heat again for a further 20 to 30 seconds or until cream is hot. Stir again, mixing well to melt the chocolate through the cream. Once ganache is glossy and creamy, stir in the vanilla extract. Cover and place in the refrigerator until set (about an hour). 2. Once Ganache has set, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 8 small ramekins (to fit 1/4 cup of batter) or a 12-count muffin tray; wipe over excess with paper towel and set aside. 3. In a large bowl, sift then whisk all of the dry ingredients together. Make a well in the center and add the oil, egg, vanilla and milk. Whisk the batter until smooth and lump free. 4. Remove ganache from the fridge; spoon 1 tablespoon of ganache into the center of each ramekin (or muffin hole). 5. Combine the sugar and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl; gently roll each cake into the cinnamon sugar mix until evenly coated. 6. RECIPE Ingredients: For the tomato soup: 2 lbs cherry tomatoes 2 whole bulbs of garlic, tops sliced off 1 large red onion, finely sliced 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar 2 tbsp olive oil, divided 4 large sprigs of thyme, leaves picked off Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper 2 tbsp tomato puree 3 cups vegetable stock 1/4 cup heavy cream Pesto, to serve For the fried mozzarella balls: 12 mini mozza-balls 3/4 cup plain flour Salt and freshly ground black pepper 1 egg 2 cups fresh breadcrumbs Vegetable oil, for frying Steps: 1. For the soup: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large roasting pan, add the tomatoes, garlic bulbs and red onion. Drizzle with the balsamic vinegar and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Sprinkle over the thyme leaves and season with sea salt and ground black pepper. 2. Place in the oven and roast for 30 minutes or until the tomatoes have burst and are slightly caramelized on the outside and the garlic is soft and mushy. Remove from the oven. 3. Squeeze the cloves from the roasted garlic bulbs and remove the vines from the tomatoes if needed. Place the contents of the roasting pan into a large saucepan and add the stock. Simmer for 5 minutes, then use a hand blender or a food processor to blitz the soup until completely smooth. Stir in the cream and set aside to keep warm. 4. For the fried mozzarella balls: Gather three wide, shallow bowls. Add the flour to the first, and season with salt and pepper. Beat the egg in the second bowl. Place the breadcrumbs in the third bowl. Coat each ball of cheese with the flour, then dip in the egg and roll in the breadcrumbs until evenly coated. Repeat with all of the bocconcini, then place 3 balls on each skewer. Freeze for 10 minutes. 5. In a large saucepan over medium-high heat, add oil and heat to 350 degrees. Fry the skewers until they are golden brown, about 20 to 30 seconds each. Transfer the balls to a paper towel-lined plate then place them on a wire rack and keep warm in the oven while you fry the remaining cheese. 6. RECIPE Ingredients: Brine: 4 cups water 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup kosher salt Bread: 2 1/2 teaspoons dry active yeast 2 teaspoons white sugar 1 1/4 cups warm water 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon kosher salt Chicken: 1 whole organic chicken, deboned 4 tablespoons salted butter 3 tablespoons chopped rosemary 3 tablespoons chopped thyme 8 ounces ham 10 ounces sliced Swiss cheese Salt and pepper, to taste Steps: 1. In a wide, shallow dish, combine brine ingredients. 2. Place the deboned chicken in the brine and place in the fridge for at least 2 hours. 3. In a large mixing bowl, mix yeast, sugar and warm water. Let sit for 10 minutes until the yeast has activated. Add in the flour a little at a time, making sure to incorporate before adding more. Add the salt, cover bowl with a kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for an hour or until doubled in size. 4. When dough has doubled in size, remove onto a floured surface and delicately shape into a ball, return to bowl, and allow to rise once more until doubled in size, about an hour. 5. Remove the chicken from the brine and thoroughly pat dry. Mix the butter with the herbs and press underneath the skin of the chicken. Season with salt and pepper inside and out. Stuff chicken with ham and cheese slices. 6. Preheat oven to 360 degrees. 7. After dough has doubled in size again, remove from bowl and place on a floured surface. Lightly stretch the dough (this should be very easy) to a 1 foot by 1 foot square. Delicately lay the dough over a 9 by 13 pan, place the chicken in the center of the dough, and fold the dough over starting from one corner and working your way around, sealing with a little water as you go. 8. Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
