As Autumn gently inches her way into our lives my mouth turns to gin and whiskey (martini’s and bourbon cocktails) while my thoughts wander down memory’s lane. Here is a very palate-friendly martini mix sitting royally before salted nuts, smoked oysters, and a picture from an older relative’s long-ago wedding.
In your shaker combine the following, then shake, shake, shake…pour, pour, pour…reminisce… reminisce… reminisce.
1-1/2 oz. Gin
½ oz. Dry Vermouth
¼ oz. Sweet Vermouth (I like Antica Formula)
½ oz. Martini Olive juice, with extra olives on the size
