This began as a Chartreuse and Tonic alternative for a summer’s Gin and Tonic. I named it after Breitenbush Hot Springs. It captures the mellow spirit of the forested retreat offering a meditative hot springs, near a glacier-fed river. These folks even boast something called Buddha’s Playhouse. I’m certain the monks in France would enjoy this place.(This just added to my new mixology book)
Fill a glass three-fourths with ice cubes. Then add in this order:
1 oz. Green Chartreuse
1-2 tsp. Rose Cordial, to taste (and not Roses Lime this time.)
Juice pinched from small half-lime wedge.
3 oz. tonic
Garnish on top with the leftover lime wedge.
