The Ultimate Salsa Verde 🌶️— A perfect match for your carnitas torta. @ivskitchen
INGREDIENTS:
- 12 green tomatillos, peeled
- ½ white onion
- 2 jalapeños
- 3 garlic cloves
- ½ bunch cilantro
- 1 tablespoon chicken bouillon
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
PREPARATION:
1. In a large pot over high heat, boil tomatillos for 10 minutes or until skin begins to peel.
2. Blend the tomatillos with onion, jalapeños, garlic cloves, cilantro, and chicken bouillon for 1 minute or until smooth
3. In a large pot over medium heat, cook the sauce with olive oil for about 5 minutes or until the color darkens.
4. Use it with some of your favorite recipes and enjoy!
