I tried quite a few ice cream and gelato recipes - this is definitely in the top 3. Inspired by Graeter's ice cream of the same name, i found a recipe on Food52, and modified it to fit Michael's current sugar restriction - used 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup stevia. It turned out really well, there's no bitter after taste whatsoever that you sometimes get with stevia. And of course, if regular sugar is no concern, go ahead and use all sugar.
