At every cocktail party in the 1950s they served a clam dip. Now cocktail culture is back in full swing, and the venerable clam dip has been upgraded herein. I made this dip for November 6, 2018. 1 8—ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 6.5—ounce can of minced clams, lightly drained
3 TBS. mayonnaise
2 tsp. teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 shakes of Tabasco sauce
2 tsp. quality sweet vermouth like Antica Formula
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. onion powder
3+ green onions white and green parts, finely chopped
1 fresh Basil leaf, finely chopped
1/2 Meyer lemon, freshly juiced
