These sweet, crunchy seeds are delicious, not to mention perfect for muffin making!
1 tsp raw sugar
2 tablespoons clover honey
1/2 tbsp light olive oil
1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 cup raw shelled sunflower seeds
Heat oven to 350F (convection if available).
Combine sugar, honey, oil and salt in a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute.
Add the sunflower seeds and mix well.
Spread onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake 20 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Cool completely, then break them apart and store in an airtight jar.
