If you like the tang and zip of cherry this is your joy ride. This recipe is based on an original called Joe’s Bourbon Delight at Seattle’s Goodbar.
1-1/2 oz. bourbon
1/2 oz. cherry Heering
5/8 oz. Amaro meletti
½ oz. lime cordial
1 tsp. drunken cherries (See my menu Lime Cordial and Drunken Fruit #3)
Combine above liquors in shaker with ice and strain to pour off into wide glass with large cube.
Then top drunken cherries and some juice made from dried cherries in liquor.
Leave a small spoon for fishing out the cherries as you go.
