Veggie Turnip Cake 素蘿蔔糕


Steam veggie turnip cake



Recipe: **4pcs moulds in 16x8x5cm

1300g turnip cut in shreds + 1 cup water

225g rice flour

75g wheat glutinous flour

2 cups Veggie soup

120g Veggie soja meat, dry mushroom, salted mustard, shallot



Process: **Grease the mould

a/ Boil the turnip with 1 cup water for 3-4 mins, put aside;

b/ Cut the soja/mushroom/salted mustard in cubes, fry all these in pan with medium heat, put aside;

c/ In a big bowl, put all flour and stir in the veggie soup until smooth, pour in the b/ into the flour mixture; 2ndly pour the a/ in and then mix well until smooth; pour into the mould and steam for 40mins.

d/ Let it cool, serve in hot; or put in the fridge for a week, or freeze for 1 month.
