My youngest turned 15 today. Hard to believe how fast 15 years can go by. Seems like yesterday he was a 7 lb 11 oz bundle of joy being cradled in my arms (and smelling so good too! lol). He was a cuddle bug during his young years. We can't do that anymore...he is now 6' 3" and wears the same shoe size as his age, which, by the way, I can only buy online! Thankfully, he still likes to give and receive hugs (most days!). I will happily take each and every one of them Jake. We love you are very proud of the wonderful young man you are turning out to be. Now, he can't wait to turn 16 so he can start driving...(is it mean of me to wish that this year is a slow one....!!!) :D
Before we had pizza and cupcakes for supper, we went to the hospital this afternoon to visit with my father in law. He is doing SOOO much better. We are still not sure if he will be able to return to living on his own back home and we will be having a meeting to determine the best living arrangement for him where he will be monitored to take his medications regularly and watched because he is at a risk for falling. He is 80 years old and had a severe brain injury 10 years ago from an accident at the farm and now he will occasionally suffer from seizures which is what happened to him last week. Being back at home would make him happy but being safe and cared for is the first priority.
A little reminder to my son...don't be in such a hurry to grow up, ok?! :)
