As promised, here are some of the the steps in the process of the #meal which I had prepared the other evening.
The plated meal presentation will be next.
Vegetables included:
White Onions
Sweet Peppers - Red, Orange, Yellow
Snow Peas
Asparagus
Chopped onions were placed in the beans, along with garlic powder, cumin powder, ground black pepper, salt, savory, thyme, basil, red pepper flakes
The pork was placed in beans AFTER beans had cooked.
Naturally, some of the beans had to be removed to make room for the pork - which is no problem. Just eat them the day before. Cooking the beans is an overnight operation, as is cooking the pork. Since I don't have two crockpots, I served this meal on the third day.
When completed cooking, the meat is fall-apart tender.
It's quite delicious!
