Several preparations of fig (fresh Mission figs) paired with white chocolate, honey, croutons and celery.



I was a bit more excited about trying this in concept (figs? yes please. Celery, interesting, but bring it) then how I felt about the relatively light, and mostly neutral flavoured plate. Not that it wasn't enjoyable, but the plate was like a mild cheese course, sans edges or palate stimulating changes. Just subtle ease to close.



I'm not into sugar bombs, but for some reason this felt a little anti-climatic after a series of highs.
